Dr. Sheeba Rahman is a Board Certified Psychiatrist. She provides consultation, psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management for adults and older adolescents. She treats a wide variety of mental health conditions including Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Eating Disorders, and Personality Disorders.
Dr. Rahman’s special areas of interest include women’s health, encompassing emotional issues involving marital and family relationships, career challenges, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum depression, transitions to motherhood, menopause, and loss of loved ones, all of which require a thorough and compassionate approach.
Dr. Rahman provides a comprehensive consultation, and will formulate a treatment plan tailored for each individual by identifying the cause of the problem, providing symptom relief, and improving overall quality of life.
After serving as a Chief Resident during her training, Dr. Rahman joined the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and served as an Attending Psychiatrist until her recent move to South Florida.
